Callum spots Ben in CCTV footage from the warehouse robbery

Callum’s revelation that he wanted to join the police last year knocked Ben for six.

They eventually remained together after Ben promised to turn a new leaf and leave his criminal life behind.

But Ben’s part in Phil’s revenge plot against Sharon’s mystery man didn’t go down so well with Callum and broke the pair apart.

Callum is late for Ben’s cochlear implant switch-on

The couple eventually got back together, but it looks like they could face another hurdle in upcoming scenes as Callum discovers Ben’s part in the warehouse robbery.

Next week’s episodes of EastEnders will see Callum power through his work so he can support Ben on the day of his cochlear implant switch-on.

Meanwhile, Ben hatches a plan to take their relationship to the next stage and decides to present Callum with a key to the Mitchell household.

Callum demands to know the truth about the robbery

At work, Callum tries to get a shift on with his job trawling through CCTV footage from a warehouse.

But he’s stunned when he recognises Ben’s face in the shadows.

Callum panics when his boss tells him their new target is Danny Hardcastle and that he wants all evidence of his – and anyone else’s – involvement in the warehouse robbery.

Will Callum tell him what he’s seen?

Meanwhile, Ben waits at the hospital wondering where Callum has got to.

Callum tries to prevent his boss enhancing and identifying the image of Ben, but will he succeed?

Later, Callum arrives at the hospital just in time to see the implant switch-on.

Will Ben be able to hear him?

Later, Ben gets upset that Callum seems distracted, but Callum brushes it off as work.

When Callum tests Ben by saying they’re looking for Danny at the police station, Ben lies and pretends he doesn’t have a clue about his recent whereabouts.

But later, Ben apologises when he realises Callum was in a mood because of Danny and his lies.

Callum then demands the truth from Ben – but will he open up?

And will Callum dump Ben for turning back to his criminal ways?
