SHARON Watts has formed a bond with Kat Slater in recent weeks – but their new friendship is under threat.
The new EastEnders pals get into an explosive row as Sam Mitchell continues her scheming.
Upon her arrival, Sam Mitchell (portrayed by Kim Medcalf) seemed ready to prove she’s worthy of her family name.
However, during a conversation with Shirley Carter, she revealed her true intentions and has vowed to destroy her brother Phil’s criminal empire.
But in doing so, she has long-term foe Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) in her target line and is also intent on destroying the both of them.
Next week, the scheming blonde bombshell puts her plan into action as Sharon checks in on Kat following the previous night’s events – which included Phil’s return to Walford after it was believed he had died in prison.
Although she had the best intentions, Sharon struggles to remain civil with Kat as her close bond with Phil has also been exposed.
Both women get into a huge argument – and Sam is concerned her plan to bring down the Mitchell Empire will catch up with her.
All three women are in shock when Phil makes a toast to his mother Peggy and Sam fears that her tough brother will realise what she’s been up to.
This eventually leads to a harrowing situation during which Phil appears to play with both Kat and Sharon’s feelings.
Later on, Phil reassures Kat after she tells him she was about to sign the bar over – he’s back and very much in control again.
While they may be on speaking terms, Kat is adamant on leaving their relationship where it ended, but Phil is stunned to hear that she’s moved back into No.31.
Despite his pleas, the owner of Kat’s Cabs insists everything is over between them.
As he pursues Kat, Sharon tries to talk to Phil but he’s called away by DCI Samantha Keeble who reminds him of their deal leaving the former Vic landlady to check in on Kat once again.
