THE victim of Ben Mitchell’s vicious attack was revealed in a heartbreaking case of mistaken identity during tonight’s episode.
EastEnders fans were left horrified as they witnessed Ben Mitchell launch a violent attack on an as then unidentified victim.
But in tonight’s episode, it emerges that the troubled Walford resident mistook his own nephew, Peter Beale, for a homophobe who was threatening him earlier in the day.
Chasing him into an alley, Ben brutally attacked the man.
But when he gave him another kicking and turned his body over Ben was horrified to see that he hadn’t attacked the homophobe.
Meanwhile, fans of the BBC soap are terrified Ben has killed Peter.
One wrote: “Ben just attacked his own nephew!!! He didn’t even see his face and decided to attack him because he’s wearing a red jumper. #EastEnders”
