Luisa shared this inspiring photo on Instagram

Taking to her Instagram page earlier today, Luisa shared a sweet snap as she and her children tried to spread some joy amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

In the photo, the star is posing with her daughters – aged 16 and 17 – in front of a gate that they have decorated with colourful chalk.

The optimistic message reads: “Hey little fighter, soon things will be brighter.”

The trio have also added a drawing of a love heart and a cheerful rainbow, and Luisa simply captioned the family pic with heart emojis.

The star has concealed her two girls’ faces in the post, and has always been incredibly private about their identities.

She and Annette adopted the sisters when they were aged just three and four years old, with Luisa previously telling OK magazine: “We saw a picture and I burst into tears.

“I knew the girls were my children. I’d bought them clothes before we had even been approved to have them.”

They are fiercely protective of their daughters’ identities

Luisa and Annette have been together for over 20 years; they had a civil partnership in 2006 and officially got married in 2015 – where their daughters were bridesmaids.

The actress’ followers were blown away by the sweet snap, with her EastEnders co-star Lacey Turner commenting: “So beautiful.”

Tilly Keeper, who played Louise Mitchell in the soap, and Maisie Smith who plays Tiffany Butcher also liked the post.
