EASTENDERS star Maisie Smith has hit back after being called “vain” for posing for pictures on Instagram.
The Tiffany Butcher, 19, actress said it has taken her a long time to love herself in a no-nonsense message addressing people who’d made unkind comments about her.
She said: “I get a lot of comments saying that I’m vain and that I love myself.
“And you are absolutely right – I do love myself, and it’s taken me a while to feel this way.
“So I’m so sorry if my happiness offends anyone because I’m just living my movie, I’m just living happily in my skin.
“I think that should be celebrated – not discouraged. Correct me if I’m wrong, guys,”
She is just the latest star to hit back at her haters this week, after Love Island’s Molly-Mae Hague responded to people who had called her “lardy” and told her to go on a diet.
And today Vicky Pattison addressed people who had criticised her and other stars calling them “unhappy and insecure” and their messages “vile”.
