EMMERDALE fans have broken down in tears after Victoria Sugden suffered flashbacks of her rape while getting romantic to Luke Posner.

The chef – who is played by actress Isabel Hodgins in the ITV soap – was preparing to sleep with boyfriend Luke for the first time she was raped by his brother Lee.

But after setting the scene and making her house all romantic she invited Luke in when it all went wrong.

After they began kissing Victoria began seeing Lee and having flashbacks to that awful night.

She told Luke: “No, no I want to stop. I really wanted this but I can’t. I really thought I was ready. I am so so ready Luke. Please will you just go.”

She then began sobbing and later opened up to Amy about the trauma she was going through.

“I wanted to be with him so much but when it came to it I felt sick,” she told Amy.

“Lee’s still there, controlling me and stopping me from having the chance of a real relationship. I want to and I can’t.

“Everything was perfect but then I was back there, re-living it and I was seeing him and I could smell him. I could feel him touch me. Being with someone else took me back to that night.

“What if that never changes? What if every time I try and move passed it he’s still there?”

She told Luke to leave after the upsetting flashbacks

Meanwhile Luke told Bob that he should have left Victoria alone, convinced he was hurting her.

He told him: “No, not because of me. I stopped. As soon as she didn’t want to I stopped. She was so freaked out. Lee is still hurting her and I am part of that. I should have done the decent thing and kept away.”

The scenes left fans in tears with one writing: “Emmerdale are crushing me!! 4th time this week ive cried because of the show.”

A second said: “Poor Victoria maybe Luke just isn’t the right guy to be with #Emmerdale.”

Another added: “Ah Victoria @emmerdale.”
