VILLAGE vicar Charles Anderson is trying to do right by his son Ethan in the village.
But next week in Emmerdale, he gets wind his long-lost daughter Naomi may be in trouble and makes a shock decision.
In 2021, Charles Anderson (portrayed by Kevin Mathurin) found out he had a daughter named Naomi but never had the chance to be a part of her life.
This was due to his former wife Esme suffering from postnatal depression and leaving him as a result.
Unable to take care of her daughter due to her condition, Esme put Naomi up for adoption.
Unlike Charles, however, she later had the chance to meet the young girl and form a bond with her in 2020.

Meanwhile, Charles focused more on his family within the village, particularly his son Ethan who previously accused him of not leaving him and his boyfriend Marcus enough space as a couple.
But in scenes due to air next week, Charles and Ethan reconcile after their row.
The latter then reveals he got news from his mother Esme who told him Naomi has gone missing.
Charles is awash with guilt when he realises this may be down to his refusal to meet her and prays for her safety in church.
Marcus Dean decides to dig around for information on where to find Naomi and finds a picture he soon shows Charles.
The vicar is stunned and is more than determined to find Naomi himself, despite never having been a part of her life.
Village GP Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) returns to the village the following day and learns that Charles has left to look for his missing daughter.
Sadly, Charles hits a dead ends during his search but continues to look for her.
