Emmerdale spoilers: Vicar Harriet stands up the bishop for a church romp with evil Malone

HARRIET Finch succumbs to temptation and romps with DI Malone again next week in Emmerdale – and misses a meeting with the bishop to fix a date for her wedding with Will. 

Fans of the ITV soap predicted that Harriet and Malone had romantic history weeks ago when she called him to tell him about Will’s suspicious behaviour.

Harriet misses a meeting with the bishop about her wedding for a romp with Malone

And viewers were right as Malone turned out to be an old friend who she knew from her time as an undercover cop. 

When the vicar asked Malone if he’d been able to trace Will’s gun back to his old gang, Malone pretended he hadn’t had any leads.

But Harriet eventually discovered what Malone was up to – and that he was the culprit who had drawn Will into a dodgy drugs operation.

Harriet has agreed to marry Will despite her ongoing affair with Malone

Malone and Harriet’s romantic history was then confirmed as the pair gave into their desires for one another in the church.

And fans were left fuming after Harriet accepted Will Taylor’s marriage proposal shortly after – despite her ongoing affair with dangerous Malone. 

Next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Harriet continue to cheat on her fiancee with evil Malone as the pair make plans for their wedding. 

Harriet admits to Laurel that she has reservations about marrying Will

The upcoming scenes will see Will suggest to Harriet that they meet the bishop to fix a date for the wedding. 

But when Harriet flounders, Will is left doubting whether she wants to go through with hit. 

At the cafe later, Harriet admits to Laurel that she has reservations about marrying Will. 

Dawn and Will make excuses for Harriet when she doesn’t turn up

Harriet later meets Malone in the church and makes clear that she doesn’t want to see him anymore. 

But it’s clear she’s still attracted to the dangerous detective and eventually succumbs to her attraction towards him. 

Meanwhile, Dawn and Will meet with the Bishop at the Woolpack, but they have to make excuses on Harriet’s behalf when she doesn’t turn up. 

Dawn then reveals to Will that Malone is back – leaving him suspicious. 

Later, when Will questions Harriet, she insists that Will has no interest in messing with them again and that his business in the village is over.
