EMMERDALE star Charley Webb has revealed her son Ace was rushed to hospital at the weekend after being struck down with illness.
The actress called 999 and an ambulance was sent to the family home after the two-year-old took a turn for the worse.
Worried Charley, 33, called the ordeal “scary” but thankfully the youngster has since made a recovery.
Writing on Instagram, Charley said: “Ace has been poorly since Friday being sick on and off but he’s just been really lethargic.
“And then on Saturday he took a turn for the worse we had to get him into hospital, but then today he’s turned a bit of a corner, but it’s been really scary, [we had] the ambulance out and everything.”
Reassuring fans today, she said their fun half-term plans were back on as she flashed a peace sign in the car.
Charley’s husband Matthew Wolfenden recently shocked fans as he shared a throwback of the pair to mark their anniversary.
The shot – taken 15 years ago – showed the couple looking almost unrecognisable when they first “got together” after meeting on the ITV soap.
Matthew, who plays David Metcalfe on the show, said that he knew at that moment that she was “his soulmate”.
He captioned the picture: “This photo was taken 15 years ago. We had just ‘got together’… now we’ve been married 4 years and have 3 amazing, beautiful (always annoying) boys running around the house and driving us mad!
“I knew as we had this photo taken that we’d be together forever. I’d found my soulmate. Love you pal. @miss_charleywebb . Happy anniversary. X ”
The couple tied the knot in February 2018 in a surprise wedding that their friends and family thought was a birthday party.
They are parents to Buster, 11, Bowie, six, and Ace, two.
