Emmerdale fans have been left baffled as to why Vanessa keeps pushing Charity away

Why have Vanessa and Charity been arguing in Emmerdale?

Fans will know that Vanessa has been pushing Charity away after a chemo ward bust up left the couple at rock bottom last month.

Vanessa ordered Charity to leave the hospital after she made a scene and shouted at Kerry – who killed Vanessa’s father in a fire – to go.

A fight then broke out and Charity ended up shoving Kerry, causing a member of staff to threaten to call security, leaving Vanessa pretty unimpressed.

Vanessa then made matters worse by getting drunk in a bar with Rhona and starting a fight with a student.

After reconciling, Vanessa ask Charity how she’d feel about adopting Johnny, only for Charity to pause.

Vanessa was upset by the pause and decided there was still a huge rift between them.

Is Vanessa going to die in Emmerdale?

Emmerdale are yet to confirm whether Vanessa loses her battle with ovarian cancer, but fans are convinced that the vet will be killed off following her first few rounds of chemotherapy

Michelle Hardwick previously said she had always known what the ending for her character’s storyline would be.

She said: “I won’t say which way it goes, but I was told straight away.

“As soon as [Emmerdale’s executive producer] Jane Hudson brought me up, she told me the storyline and the outcome.

“I didn’t even have time to think about it one way or another. As soon as I was told the story, I was told the outcome.

“It wasn’t a case of ‘here’s the story but we don’t know yet’. So I’ve always known what happens in the storyline but my lips are sealed…”

The ominous quotes and the news Michelle will be at least temporarily leaving the show due to her pregnancy mean fans are terrified that it will be a final farewell for Vanessa.
