EMMERDALE’S Leyla Harding is going to be dumped by Dr Liam – after accusing his daughter Leanna of stalking her.
The wedding planner – who is played by actress Roxy Shahidi in the ITV soap – was ambushed by a man who thought she had invited him over for a romp on a hook up app.
She thought he was a prospective client for her wedding planning business but it soon became clear that he wanted a much more personal service from Leyla.
When she realised what was going on she tried to tell the man that there had been a mix-up, but he wouldn’t listen.
Instead he first decided she was playing hard to get, and then decided she had changed her mind – not that it would stop him.
It was only when Leyla threatened to scream the place down and made it very clear he had to leave that he went.
But the experience could have gone much more badly – and the man told her so.
Later in the episode the person behind Leyla’s torment was finally revealed after a violent showdown.
When Leyla returned to the office she was horrified to find it trashed and vandalised – and she was completely terrified when she realised her stalker was still there.
Grabbing a vase she hurled it at her hooded tormenter, hitting them in the arm.
Gabby was then shown running home and tending to a nasty wound on her arm.
However in tonight’s episode, Leyla is seriously shaken up and struggling to cope with what’s happened.
And when the police ask her if she’s had any trouble with anyone – she tells them about Leanna.
After the police question her, Liam’s furious and goes to confronts Leyla and makes it clear they are over.
But how will he feel when he discovers Gabby is the one behind it all?
