EMMERDALE fans are convinced Mackenzie Boyd is Moira Barton’s secret son.
The Scottish hunk turned up in the village last week and kidnapped Moira’s ex-husband Cain Dingle to ransom him.
But when that failed he revealed just how much he hates his sister and how he blames her for destroying his family.
Even when Moira told him the truth about what really happened – how she took the blame for an affair so their violent father wouldn’t kill their mother, he refused to accept it.
He accused her of lying and fans agree – but they think she is lying about the truth of who Mackenzie’s mother really is.
The dark theory states that Moira also fled home because she was being abused by her father – and he got her pregnant with Mackenzie.
One wrote: “So mackenzie is actually moiras son which means his mum is actually his grandmother and moiras secret is that her dad (his grandfather) abused her when she was younger.”
A second said: “I’m not buying that Mackenzie is Moira’s brother. I think he’s her son #Emmerdale”

Mackenzie made an immediate impression on viewers in last night’s episode with fans loving how he has revamped the village.
After kidnapping Cain Dingle and finding himself beaten up by him, Mackenzie still managed to stand up the village hardman.
In a fiery exchange in the village he told him: “People round here, do they buy into this angry hardman thing? Big fish, little pond – is that it?
“Are you flirting with me? Big fish? Because that’s not my thing.”
Viewers loved the scene with one writing: “The new boy causing havoc in the Dale’s with a twinkle in his eye, great addition to the soap”
A second said: “Okay, I love Mac. I said it.”
Another added: “I want to know who took that photo of Charity and Mackenzie kissing.”
