Max Parker has teased fans will see another side to his character Luke

But while Luke has proved he’s nothing like his evil brother and has only shown a calm and dependable side so far, actor Max teased that viewers haven’t seen all of his alter ego yet.

Speaking to Inside Soap, Max revealed: “What’s great is that now Luke has settled into the village, there’s more freedom for him to make new connections.

“We’re going to see another side to his personality – a bit more fire, I guess – in a story coming up that involves me working with a few unexpected characters.”

Luke and Victoria still have feelings for each other

Victoria ended her relationship with Luke earlier this year after realising she wasn’t ready to be in one, but this week Marlon tries to reunite the pair after noticing they still have feelings for each other.

Speaking about Luke and Victoria’s controversial romance, Max said: “Some of the show’s most-loved characters hated Luke’s family for so long that I think viewers are still making their minds up.

“If people don’t want to see her and Luke together, it’s usually because they can’t forgive what Luke’s brother, Lee, did. Luke’s a decent guy at heart, so hopefully people will see that.”

Max added that he wanted to delve more into Luke’s family history, including his relationship with his dad.

He said: “I’ve always wanted to explore that. He’s rarely spoken about, so there must be family tension there. I want to know if Luke’s dad is like him or like Lee – and why he’s not around.”
