EMMERDALE’S Michelle Hardwick shows off baby bump as she and wife Kate Brooks prepare for their first child.

The actress, who plays Vanessa Woodfield on the soap is set to welcome her first child later this year in October.

Vanessa Woodfield showed off her baby bump to fans on Instagram

The actress was absolutely glowing as she took to Instagram to share a candid snap of her growing bump.

She rolled up her top to show her fans her bare stomach and let them know she has been feeling a kick a some days now.

The soap star wrote: “Feeling the kicks”, followed by a loveheart emoji.

Fans then took to Instagram and commented on Michelle’s pregnancy update.

Michelle and Kate got married last year

Last month, Michelle first gave fans a glimpse of her baby bump while baking brownies and wearing a maternity dress.

And she joked tonight that she doesn’t know who she is after deciding to bake a tray full of brownies while wearing a maternity dress.

She posted the snap to Instagram, captioning it: “I’ve baked brownies and I’m wearing a floral maternity dress. What has become of me? 😆#adventuresinpregnancy #wethairdontcare”

Michelle announced her happy news last month with a family photo of her and wife Kate, who is the producer of Emmerdale, and their dog.

“Fred’s big brother duties commence in October #BabyBrooks,” she commented.
