MUCKY Moira Bartons life will be left hanging in the balance in Emmerdale next week as husband Cain Dingle finds out the truth about her steamy fling with Nate Robinson.
And as a murderous Cain coerces Moira and Nate onto a boat where he confronts the hunky farmhand over the affair, Moira is knocked overboard into the water.
Cain played by Jeff Hordley in the ITV soap – attacks Nate with a plank of wood, determined to finish him off. But in the commotion, its Moira (Natalie J Robb) who gets knocked overboard and shes soon looking death in the face as she gets caught in weeds under the water.
Betting firm Bookmakers.tv have given odds of 2/1 that Moira will die during the incident.
A spokesperson for the firm told the Daily Star: “Fans of Moira have every reason to be worried as she is trapped underwater having fallen overboard.”
Meanwhile, on the surface, as Nate and Cain continue to brawl, a leaky petrol cannister causes an explosion that rips through the tiny boat.
Will any of the trio make it back to the village in one piece?
The dramatic scenes are the climax to Moira and Nates affair which began in the summer.
It was revealed earlier this month that Cain would find out the truth during Octobers Super Soap week.
The soaps producer, Kate Brooks, told Digital Spy: This will all come to a head in October – we like a big week in October to set the Autumn schedules alight.
“[The affair] will all come out then and honestly, it’s a massive week of drama
“It’s very story-led – a lot of tears, a lot of action and a lot of heartbreak.”
The Sun previously revealed that when Cain learns the truth, he will want blood and take revenge on Nate.
The soap says: “Hell hath no fury like a Cain Dingle scorned.”
