HOLLYOAKS fans are convinced Nico Blake has returned from the dead after Liberty and Sienna clash over the new baby.

Viewers were left in shock when the new mum appeared to have a heated discussion with an unknown young female voice in the nursery room.

Liberty has a hard decision to make – but who is she talking to?

In Monday’s episode of the soap, Liberty is heard saying, “I know my own mind,” as she finally makes up her mind to give the new baby to her half-sister Sienna.

After hearing the voice many viewers exclaimed that they thought it belonged to Nico Blake, who was killed by her own mum in self-defence back in 2018.

“Hold on is that Nico i hear?? thought she was dead??,” wrote one excited fan.

A second added: “Did I just hear Nico’s voice? What is happening😱 Is Liberty going through a breakdown?? I gots to know”

“WAS THAT NICO,” questioned a third.

The conversation between Liberty Savage and the unknown voice came after she made the heartbreaking decision to give the baby to Sienna after initially changing her mind.

The original plan was for Sienna, played by Anna Passey, and Brody [Adam Woodward] to adopt her.

However, after the emotional birth and with feelings running high, the young woman decided she couldn’t go through with it and told Damon about her change of heart.

“I’ve changed my mind. The adoption’s off,” she insisted. “It’s not up for discussion. She’s mine, and I’m keeping her.

“I almost died giving birth to her. It just made me realise that she needs me, and I need her just as much.

“I didn’t know I would feel like this, but when I first saw her, it was like I’d known her my entire life.”

However, after a chat, Liberty softened when Sienna opened up to her and told her how grateful she was to be a mum after losing so much time with the twins and Nico.

After asking for a “moment alone”, Liberty broke down in tears but then then called Sienna into her room to explain the baby “needs a mum” like her sister, who is “strong and fierce”.

While there is no confirmation yet that the voice could be Sienna’s long-dead daughter Nico Blake, it wouldn’t be the first time a character has been brought back from the dead.

Actor Jeremy Edwards, who played OG heart throb Kurt Benson, is returning to Hollyoaks after being killed off 21 years ago.

Despite his character being killed off-screen in a jet ski accident in 1999, his return to Chester has been teased in a new trailer for the show which is celebrating its 25th year on air.

Kurt was the original heart throb of Chester

Jeremy said of the return: “Hollyoaks means everything to me, because it was my first proper job, it was the beginning of a brand new exciting show.

“There were only seven of us and it was a real seminal moment in my life where everything changed and I’m very, very glad for it.

“I couldn’t be prouder of the show and where it’s come.”

The actor, who was once engaged to Rachel Stevens, was in the first-ever episode of the soap alongside best friend Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard).

Jeremy, 49, did briefly return to the Chester show in 2013 as a hallucination protecting Tony’s son during Hollyoaks later.

He has remained close friends with Nick since their early days together and claims “it’s a bond that will never be broken”.

His resurrection follows Mercedes McQueen’s (Jennifer Metcalfe) in 2015 and Warren Fox’s (Jamie Lomas) in 2011.
