Hollyoaks fans horrified as crane collapses risking lives of AT LEAST three characters

HOLLYOAKS fans were left horrified this evening as the crane collapsed during an epic stunt – leaving the lives of at least three characters at risks.

In dramatic scenes, a drunk Luke decides to jump in the crane, determined to build his restaurant himself despite Woody telling him it is too dangerous to move.

Everyone is alarmed as Luke turns the crane on but hes not in control and in a panic, he shouts for Woodys help.

As he struggled to cope with the crane arm, which is loaded with steel girders, it starts to swing uncontrollably over the village.

He jumps from the cabin and Woody warns Cindy that the crane is sinking into the tunnels.

A steel girder falls into the village below, forcing Mandy to the ground.

The villagers rush to evacuate the whole village but Ella, Charlie, Darren and Nancy are in the tunnels.

Things take a turn for the worst as the the crane falls over and smashes through the Florist and through the wall of The Loft yard, trapping Tony in the car and Scott and Mitchell in the Florist.

Nancy and Darren cower as the roof above them starts to cave in.

Those watching at home couldnt believe what they had witnessed and took to Twitter to discuss it.

One person wrote: NANCY DOESNT DIE OK SHES NOT ALLOWED SHES NOT PERMITTED NOPE ACCESS DENIED #hollyoaks.

Another tweeted: OMG #Hollyoaks That’s too stressful. Tony better be ok cos it’s about time he got back to his family. He needs a break. Terrific stuntwork. This show is at it’s best when there’s a disaster.

While someone else added: #Hollyoaks had me on the edge of my seat screaming today…
