HOLLYOAKS’ Kieron Richardson has been pictured on set again – one year after his character Ste Hay left the show.
The Channel 4 soap confirmed that the 34-year-old actor will be returning to our screens soon as they shared official snaps on social media.
In the photos, Kieron is wearing a new zip up tracksuit and looks stony-faced as he gazes into the camera.
They captioned the pics: “Ermahgerd! The excitement is FAR TOO REAL… Look who is back filming?!
“Kieron, we have missed you! Our favourite scally has returned to Hollyoaks (in a brand new trackie as well) but what has Ste got planned? Let’s hear it for Ste Hay’s return…”
It is yet to be confirmed when Kieron’s return will air – or what will bring Ste back to the village.
The character had a dramatic exit last year as a storyline that saw him get radicalised by a far-right group reached its climax.
Ste was manipulated by the extremist group after they targeted his vulnerability following the death of his sister Tegan.
He only realised how groomed he’d been after the group’s plan to set off an explosive device went terribly wrong, injuring Yazz.
The extremists turned on Ste as he tried to escape their clutches, only for one of them – Stuart – to accidentally be killed by his own son in the confrontation.
Ste was last seen in the village in November, with the character leaving in a bid to have a fresh start.
