HOLLYOAKS Scott Drinkwell is convinced Mitchell Deveraux attacked dad Felix as he’s arrested for brutal assault in scenes that will air this week.
Soap viewers were left in shock last week after Felix was left for dead after he was brutally attacked by his son Toby.
Toby and his sister Celeste were hellbent on discovering the truth about why Martine gave them away when they were babies.
But after finding out that dad Felix had in fact sold them as infants, Toby saw red on Hollyoaks.
The truth came to light several weeks back, when Scott overheard Felix and Walter discussing how Felix had sold Toby and Celeste when they were little.
But that wasn’t the end of it as Mitchell was left crushed by dad Felix’s evil deed when the shocking revelation was exposed publicly.
Yet things aren’t looking good for Mitchell when he is arrested for the assault and his boyfriend Scott is left in doubt about his innocence.
While Mitchell is in the police station being questioned, Scott admits to Diane that he’s not sure he believes Mitchell’s account, and shares concerns over their relationship.
After Felix regains consciousness following the vicious attack, he begs Celeste for a second chance to hear him out.
Doubting his relationship, Scott packs up Mitchell’s things as he tries to come to terms with the attack.
However, Mitchell does little to reassure Scott when he confesses that he did intend to go after Felix on the night he was attacked, but changed his mind.
Now desperate to hold onto their relationship, Mitchell proposes to Scott – but what will he say?
Hollyoaks airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes airing on E4 at 7pm.
