In the sweet snap, Parry is topless and cradling his newborn, whose name has not yet been revealed, with one arm.

She is dressed in an adorable ribbed outfit with frill detailing while Parry holds his phone up.

Paije explained in the post’s caption: “Wearing her outfit for video calls” alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

The new mum announced that she and Parry were expecting their first child together in December, posting a snap of them holding the images from their scan.

She simply wrote at the time: “Baby Glasspool due June 2021 🍼 @pazzyg1992”.

The following month, Paije confirmed that they were expecting a little girl following their 20-week scan.

Parry, who played Harry Thompson in Hollyoaks between 2015 and 2019 romantically proposed to his partner last year – leaving her in floods of tears at the time.

The actor had sat Paije down in front of the TV for a quiz, which he hosted himself in a pre-recorded video.

Appearing as a quizmaster, the video version of Parry told the pair to write down the one-word answers to a series of questions.

He said: “Name something that people leave behind when they die. What trees commonly grow in a graveyard?

“Give me another word for ‘harmoniously combine’. What disease causes chronic fatigue?”

Bewildered and struggling to answer even a single one, Paije looked up in shock when the answers were revealed as: “Will. Yew. Marry. ME.”

She turned around to find Parry on one knee, holding a ring box in his hands.

Parry posted a video of the tearjerking moment to Instagram at the time, writing: “How it went down… You know I had to film it somehow!”
