Who is Kym Marsh?
Kym Marsh is a soap actress and singer best known for playing Michelle Connor on Coronation Street.
The 43-year-old originally found fame as the lead singer of the band Hear’Say, which was created as part of ITV talent show Popstars in 2000.
The band had a Number One single with Pure and Simple.
After just a year-and-a-half in the band, Kym quit the group and launched her solo career in 2003, but was dropped by her record label after only one album.
She soon found success in Corrie playing Michelle Connor and became a full-time cast member from April 2006.

In February 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed how Kym is leaving the soap after 13 years – after originally signing up for a cameo role.
The actress wants to try something new, although she is yet to disclose if she will stay in acting or return back to singing.
Kym told The Sun: Its been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time.
Bosses were desperate for her to stay on asMichelle Connor. Executive producer John Whiston said: Well be really sad to lose her.
She told The Sun: When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes I could never in my wildest dreams have thought Id be here 13 years later.

Is Kym married and how many children does she have?
Kym has been married twice – to EastEnders star Jack Ryder from 2002-2009, and to Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas from 2012-2014.
She has had four children – Emilie Mae, David Ryan, Polly, and Archie.
Unfortunately, Archie was born only 23 weeks into the pregnancy and did not survive.
The loss of Archie later had a strange parallel to the loss of her character Michelle’s child in 2017 – something Kym admits was difficult.
The actress is currently in a relationship with Army Major – Scott Ratcliff.
The pair have been dating since June 2018.

In May 2018, Kym spoke out about her stalking ordeal, which saw a “scary” social media user take on her persona across her Twitter and Facebook accounts.
She revealed how they had been impersonating her for a staggering SEVEN years.
As well as taking on her personality, the crazed fan also set up fake profiles for her children David and Emilie and uploaded images of the family home onto the sites.
She told OK! Magazine of her terror and said:No one should feel scared in their own home and I was.
A while ago I was sent porn hate mail to my house. Some bloke was sending photographs of my face put on pornographic images.
