LISA George is best known for playing Beth Tinker in Coronation Street, joining the ITV soap in 2011.

And it appears that the actress’ home life is just as bright and cheerful as her onscreen character’s wardrobe, with the 49-year-old star’s quirky Manchester house full of vintage knick knacks and jazzy wallpaper.

Let’s take a look inside Corrie star Lisa George’s home

Lisa has given fans an insight into her private life over on her Instagram page, where she shares her love for the 1950s, artwork, and home improvement.

The actress has multiple unique lamps in her lounge, including a figure of a chalkware woman holding the light in her hands.

The figure has dark hair tied up in a bun and is wearing a flowery kimono-style dress.

Sharing a picture of the piece soon after buying it, Lisa gushed: “My latest addition – isn’t she beautiful!! I love her.”

She followed up with a picture of another chalkware lamp that lives in Lisa’s ’50s inspired room.

This one is a bust of a woman wearing a leopard print top with red flowers in her hair.

The figurine is holding up the lamp, which has a matching leopard print shade, on her shoulder, with her left hand held up in a “stop” motion.

Lisa also has a human-sized mannequin that she uses as a “garden feature”.

The star shared a picture of the figure, which is wearing a pink maxi dress and blonde wig, sitting on a white arm chair in her living room.

The living room has cream walls and a fluffy grey rug on the hardwood floors, as well as multiple silver photo frames that hold cherished memories for the actress.

Lisa revealed in the post’s caption that her “new housemate” wasn’t going to stay in the lounge, writing: “She’s going in the front garden to match my theme of #stepfordwives – just need a summer hat to go with the outfit.

“I’m not mad really #mannequin #gardenfeature #stepfordgarden #amongsttheflowers”.

While the front garden has the mannequin, the back is just as exciting – with Lisa building her own tiki bar for summer days.

Sharing progress pictures of the bar, Lisa revealed that she got to work with bamboo poles and tools after “waiting a year” for somebody else to build it.

She previously posted pictures of coconut shell cups and tiki decorations for parties when the bar is completed.

Further proving her DIY prowess, Lisa also shared that she used a day off filming Corrie to lay down vintage-look black and white tiles in her kitchen.

Lisa also appears to be a huge artwork lover, hanging quirky pieces on her walls, which are covered in vintage-look wallpaper.

The star also has duck and face figurines mounted onto the wall, with a quirky pineapple lamp visible on the ajoining exposed brickwork wall.

Lisa is an upcycling fan, rejuvenating old products – including a vintage ’30s/40s cabinet for her bathroom, with the black piece looking elegant with silver handles that match the taps on her sink.

She also has various vintage knick knacks – including a figure of a naked pin-up woman sat beside a planted cactus, and a pink ice crusher.

Making the most of her space, Lisa has a beautician visit her home for massages to help with her “back problems”.

In one post, the hardworking actress shared a photo of the massage bed in her living room, teasing a glimpse of various vintage-inspired pieces of furniture – including a cabinet and low-rise table.

The star maintains her privacy with white shutters over her windows, ensuring that her relaxing massages are carried out firmly away from prying eyes.
