EASTENDERS star Lorraine Stanley has given fans a glimpse into her home, with stylish decor, a BBQ and her own bar.
The actress – who plays Karen Taylor on the BBC soap – has shown fans how she’s decorated her house.
Lorraine recently showed fans she bought a bar to turn her home into a pub.
The actress shared a photo with her ‘impulse purchase’ on Twitter, captioning it with Peggy Mitchell’s iconic phrase: “Get aaaaaat my pub!!”
The bar leads onto her impressive garden, which has both pavement and green space – and a BBQ to boot.
Her kitchen has granite work surfaces, black hobs and leads onto the wooden dining room tables.
She also has cool decor, with contemporary wall hangings and decorations.
Lorraine plays single mum Karen Taylor, who rocked up to E20 with her children Keanu (Danny Walters), Keegan Baker (Zack Morris), Bernadette (Clair Norris), Riley and Chatham – played by real life brothers Tom and Alfie Jacobs.
While Lorraine shows off her house, EastEnders has also built an entire new set at the BBC’s Elstree Centre in Borehamwood, opposite the current one used on screen.
The Queen Vic is getting a new look after months of continuous works from builders.
EastEnders fans will also get some new additions to the Square, with a block of luxury flats, a railway tunnel and line also being built on the plot.
Bosses updated the set to make Walford HD-ready, which has gone £27million over budget and taken two and a half extra years to complete.
However, viewers will have to wait until around 2023 to see the residents of Albert Square in the pub.
The current set was built in 1984 when the show originally launched and was supposed to be used for two years.
EastEnders isn’t currently filmed in HD as show bosses fear it would highlight the materials used for the set to viewers at home.
