EASTENDERS star Ricky Champ has revealed he is having a second child with his wife Samantha.
The actor, who plays Stuart Highway in the BBC One soap, revealed the happy news in a tweet showing the scan.
However, away from Albert Square, Ricky’s home life couldn’t be more different from his character’s chaotic onscreen dramas.
The TV star, 41, shares his comfy house with his wife Samantha and their four-year-old daughter Beatrix – they are now set to welcome a new addition to the family in July.
The ultrasound pic was seen resting by a punch of flowers and a wooden sign reading: “Baby Champ. Due July 2022.”
The couple were quickly congratulated by their friends, with one tweeting: “Fantastic news!! Massive congratulations to all the Champs!xxx.”
Another joked: “Rainie will be pleased lol – congratulations to you and your wife.”
The couple welcomed their little girl Beatrix into the world a little over four years ago, and now live in a cosy home in Essex.
Samantha regularly tweets pictures of their home-life, which includes a cute nursery for their daughter.
Step inside the cosy living room and you will find a huge plush sofa, an impressive book case and a large television.
The family may have settled down in front of it last night to watch Stuart marry Rainie on EastEnders.
In the episode, Stuart was trapped in his car after the battery died, making it impossible for him to open the door.
As a result, he and Rainie got married with her on the outside and him in the driver’s seat – even managing to share a smooch by kissing through the window’s glass.
Meanwhile upstairs in the Champ household Beatrix has a bedroom fit for a princess, which includes warm-coloured walls and vibrant drapes around the bed.
The house comes complete with two furry cats, who Samantha often takes pictures of.
Before joining EastEnders in 2018 as Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) nemesis, Ricky was known for his role as Paul Parker in the sitcom Him & Her.
He has also appeared in Game of Thrones in Season 6 as Gatins.
In 2016 he made a cameo appearance in an episode of the ITV sitcom Plebs
Ricky is also no stranger to the big screen and appeared in Paddington 2 as a prison guard.
Ricky Champ is also known for being a Shakespeare actor.
He has played Tybalt in Romeo and Juilet at Shakespeare’s Globe.
For the Royal Shakespeare Company, he has performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Hamlet and Coriolanus.
