1. James faces the police

Nothing has ever been the same for James Nightingale (played by Gregory Finnegan) since Marnie’s death in January, 2022.

The character faces a dark future while his gambling addiction takes hold of his entire life.

Coming up, after trying to toy with Juliet’s life, a voiceover from James discusses life as a high stakes game.

2. Donna-Marie stages a wake-up call

Tensions continue to arise between James and his entire family – and Juliet takes it the hardest.

However, Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson) sees this as a warning sign that James’ gambling has gotten out of hand and he needs help.

Donna-Marie decides do organise an intervention for James alongside the rest of his family.

As she wants to keep believing in James’ potential for change, Donna-Marie then extends an olive-branch.

Later on, James organises a family gathering at The Dog but has some bittersweet announcements to make.

Will he accept that he has problem and seek help?

Lizzie’s relationship with Sid ruffles feathers

3. Lizzie and Sid sneak around

Meanwhile, some members of the Chen-Williams family are also at each other’s throats.

This is particularly true for Lizzie (Lily Best) who is distraught when her adoptive father Dave takes extra measures to stop her from seeing Sid Sumner (Billy Price).

The pair are forced to sneak around and Lizzie is determined to make her father change his mind.

After an argument with Honour about her decision to keep seeing Sid, Lizzie finally manages to make her see some sense.

Although Sid gets cold feet about sneaking around with Lizie, Leela jumps in to his defence against Dave’s judgement.

But a slip of the tongue forces Sid to come clean about his dark past.

Later on, with his relationship on the rocks, Sid plans a romantic gesture for Lizzie – going as far as to injure himself when rehearsing a scene from a movie.

Will Lizzie hear him out?

Ethan Williams fears Sienna could betray him

4. Ethan panics

Elsewhere, Ethan Williams (Matthew James-Bailey) begins to question Sienna Blake’s (Anne Passey) loyalty.

When police officer Sam makes a shocking discovery at the hospital, he has the idea to do his own investigation.

During his round to Hollyoaks‘ local businesses, he encounters Ethan at The Loft and has a revelation which could leave his uncle’s drug empire in jeopardy.

In a panic, Ethan gives Sienna a tight deadline to wash their money and comes up with a new business idea involving Liberty.

Worried that both women are getting too attached, one unexpected revelation from Leela about Sienna’s history seals the deal for Ethan.

Ethan asks Ste to go the extra mile for him

5. Ste breaks into Sienna’s flat

The criminal turns to Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) for help.

During his mission for Ethan, Ste goes to extreme measures and breaks into Sienna’s flat.

What will he find?

Could he get caught?

A confrontation between Ethan and Sienna will determined whether he can finally trust her.

Verity doesn’t understand why her Eric has come to Hollyoaks

6. Verity questions her brother

Verity and Tony Hutchinson’s brother Eric (Angus Castle-Doughty) has come to Hollyoaks but his arrival remains shrouded in mystery.

This week, Eric is looking for Verity (Eva O’Hara) once again.

When Theresa accidentally spills a drink on him, it brings him face-to-face with his half-brother Tony (Nick Pickard).

Verity later questions Eric on what has been going on in his life and it’s clear that her brother has secrets of his own.

Will he ever reveal his true motives?

Could Goldie have an unexpected gift?

7. Goldie discovers a hidden talent

Over at the McQueen’s, Goldie (Chelsee Healey) believes she may have found she has a spiritual gift.

In upcoming scenes, Goldie is convinced that a litter of acorns are a message from Sylver and she discovers a new talent.

Later, Goldie is eager to put her psychic talent to the test at The Dog.

But is she really on to something?
