STRICTLY fans have branded the show a ‘fix’ after the judges saved Mike Bushell over Catherine Tyldesley following the revelation they want to see him reach Blackpool.
The 53-year-old found himself in the dance off against the former Coronation Street actress during tonight’s Results show.
Craig Revel Horwood saved Mike, while Motsi Mabuse and Bruno Tonioli opted to save Catherine, 36.
However Head Judge Shirley had the deciding vote, and saved Mike, but viewers immediately branded the decision a fix.
One wrote: “Can I just make the point again of the fact that last night when the judges were on Jonathan Ross craig and Shirley said they hope mike makes it to Blackpool THE INJUSTICE #Strictly.”
A second tweeted: “Funny how craig said on Johnathon Ross that he wanted mike to go to blackpool, #totalfix #Strictly #Strictly2019 #Strictlyresults #StrictlyComeDancing.”
A third agreed, writing: “Robbed Cath & Johannes #Strictly. They said on Jonathan Ross who they wanted in Blackpool! Fixed??”
Their tweets come after judges Shirley, Motsi and Craig appeared on The Jonathan Ross show on Saturday night and spoke about how much of an “entertainer” Mike is.
During their chat, which was recorded earlier in the week before the Halloween Special, Craig said: “I’d secretly like him to get to Blackpool, I don’t know why but I would.”
