However, a couple of weeks ago Emma was left concerned she might not get there after injuring herself in an unusual place.

Speaking to HOAR Online and other media ahead of the final, Emma, 42, said: “It was quite funny actually, it was Charleston, week 11 and it was quite fast and high intensity.

“I smashed it all through the week but then on the Friday morning when we got to the studio we had to do a bit of social media and I pulled a muscle in my bottom.

“Just standing. How do you do that?

“It was my right cheek, I did panic.

“I was strapped up, big large plasters on the cheek, it worked because I got through it.”

Emma will be hoping she doesn’t suffer the same injury again when she dances the Charleston one more time during the final.

Speaking about their chances of winning, her pro partner Anton said: “Weve all got the same chance.

“Its the most important people voting this time, its the audience, the viewers at home that are voting.”

Emma and Anton are now in the final on Saturday night

He continued: “Its all a real level playing field in the final, anything can happen. All you can do is focus on your bit.

“We can focus on our bit and do it best we can and hope its enough. We have no control over anything else, the judges can say what the judges say, that has no reflection on the result.

“The marks dont have any worth as it were but they make you feel better. Really its up for grabs, anybody can pick it up.”

The Strictly Come Dancing final airs tonight, Saturday December 14 at 7.05pm on BBC One.
