How does Tracy discover she’s pregnant in Emmerdale?
Official spoilers have revealed that Tracy discovers the shock news that she’s pregnant while getting her wrist treated in hospital.
Following a urine test, Tracy is stunned to learn that she’s carrying Nate’s baby.
And judging from the spoiler pictures, Nate is pretty shocked too.
What has Tracy actress Amy Walsh said about the shock pregnancy?
Speaking about Tracy’s surprise, Amy Walsh told RadioTimes.com: “Her first reaction is total shock.
“She’s on the pill, they think they’ve been careful so it does come as a massive surprise. Her and Nate have not been together that long so they are both in shock at first!”
Fans know that Tracy was embroiled in a dramatic storyline when she aborted David Metcalfe’s baby as revenge for him cheating on her with Maya.
Speaking about how next week’s news brings back unpleasant memories, Amy added: “Going through that with David was something she never envisaged but she knew it was the right thing to do at the time.
“The thought of doing it again is inconceivable to her, and soon after she learns she’s pregnant by Nate she thinks having an abortion is not an option. It still lives with her every day.”
The actress continued: “This time she has grown up a lot and is stronger and independent, and almost feels like she could do it alone if she had to. Tracy has always wanted to be a mum one day, but didn’t think it would happen like this.

Are Nate and Tracy going to stay together in Emmerdale?
Viewers were hardly quick to back Nate and Tracy’s relationship when they started dating earlier this year.
Nate earned himself a bad reputation in the village after seducing his dad Cain’s wife Moira – as revenge for Cain abandoning him when he was a baby – shortly after his arrival.
Nate then ruffled more feathers when he drove Pete Barton out of the village by stealing his former flame Tracy.
But speaking to Digital Spy back in March, actress Amy Walsh – who plays Tracy – revealed she hopes the romance between her character and Nate works out.
She said: “I hope she finds some happiness. I hope she finds someone who loves her the way she deserves to be loved.”
She continued: “It’s tricky with Nate, because obviously he’s got this reputation after what he did to Moira and Cain.
“I hope this new relationship with Tracy enables us to see the real side of Nate, because he’s just damaged from his childhood.
“Nate does have goodness and I hope they fall in love. I don’t know what’s to come, but it’s going in the right direction for it to be a strong relationship, so it’s great.”
But with Emmerdale keeping shtum, fans will have to tune in to find out whether the baby news makes or breaks the couple.
