Virgin Trains wave goodbye to UK rail network with bizarre video starring Mr Blobby

VIRGIN trains have released a celebrity-filled music video starring Mr Blobby to mark the operator’s departure from Britain’s railways.

Celebs from as far back as the 1990s joined staff in celebrating the firm’s tenure as the longest-running rail franchise by recreatingthe famous lift scene from Dirty Dancing.

The film stars Mr Blobby on Virgin service

The stars include Mr Blobby, EastEnders star Shaun Williamson, and footie presenter Chris Kamara.

They enjoy a party on a Virgin Trains service from 1997 to 2019.

The firm has run services on the West Coast Main Line since March 1997 but will hand over the franchise on 8 December.

The firm is suing the DfT’s decision to disqualifytheir bid over a pensions row.
