RECKON you’re a savvy citizen of Grand Theft Auto 5? This quiz will put that to the test.

A new online game tasks you with pinpointing exactly where you are in Los Santos – with very few clues.

The game will task you with identifying your location on a map

If the format sounds familiar, that’s because it’s very similar to an existing game called GeoGuessr.

In that game, you’re dropped somewhere in the world on Google Street View.

And based on your surroundings, you’ll have to mark on the map where you think you are – with higher points earned for a closer guess.

GTA 5 fans have now recreated this system for the virtual world of Los Santos.

There are different levels of difficulty, and you can make it extremely hard.

But it’s clear evidence of how vast and unique the world of GTA 5 is.

Grand Theft Auto 5 came out in 2013, and was the first main entry in the franchise since 2008’s GTA 4.

It’s set in the fictional state of San Andreas – which is inspired by Southern California.

The story follows three criminals who conduct heists against a backdrop of organised crime and corrupt government agents.

There’s a spin-off game called GTA Online that operates in the same Los Santos world, albeit online with other players.

So some gamers will have been hanging around in Los Santos for nearly a decade.
