GAMERS have been left fuming after Call of Duty Modern Warfare servers crashed this evening.
Warzone players reported seeing error code 8192 pop up, which left them unable to access live servers.
According to Down Detector, over 11,000 reports of problems had been logged between 8-9pm.
And an outage map shows that the problem is affecting London particularly badly, as well as the East Coast of the US and mainland Europe.
The problem seemed to appear when completing the profile sign-in process, which prompts an ‘error’ message.
It has not yet been established what caused the outage – which is being experienced across Ps4, Xbox One and PC.
Gamers were left outraged after the error disrupted their online session, with developer Activision yet to issue a statement on the disturbances.
‘SHOCKER’
One wrote on Twitter: “@CallofDuty servers are down.. shocker”.
And another added: “Why Call of duty, why have you done this?? Cod servers are down!! F***, get it together.”
While one said: “Call of duty servers are down and I’m not sure what to do with myself.”
The problem comes at an inconvenient time as the game prepares to launch a multiplayer weekend feature.
Infinity Ward said: “Free-to-play Warzone users can experience another Multiplayer Free Access Weekend on June 12 at 10 AM PT to June 15 at 10AM PT.
“It will include the latest 6v6 Multiplayer Maps Zhokov Scrapyard and Hardhat, as well as a few other fan-favorites.”
