Fortnitemares 2020 release date – when does it start and end?

Fortnitemares always takes place over Halloween.

And you’ll have two weeks to enjoy the new update.

You can download the update at any time between those dates, but the event will still end for everyone on November 3 – regardless of when you updated.

Fortnitemares 2020 changes – what’s included?

This year’s event is called Fortnitemares: Midas’ Revenge.

“Shadow Midas has taken over The Authority with his reawakened Henchmen,” Epic Games explained.

“Stop him before you turn into a Shadow yourself. After being eliminated in Solo, Duos, or Squads, return to battle as a Shadow for your shot at a Shadow Royale

” Join fellow Shadows to defeat survivors by using your otherworldly abilities, like possessing the body of vehicles.”

You’ll be able to complete challenges to earn new rewards, including the Midas’ Shadow Wrap, Smash O’-Lantern Pickaxe, Bobo Back Bling and more.

There’s also an Afterlife Party on October 31 at 9pm ET – or 2am the next day for Britsw.

Headlining the event is Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin, including the debut of his new song featuring Tech.

You’ll be able to watch rebroadcasts of the performance on November 1 at 1pm ET and 6pm ET at the main stage.

Other highlights include touring the Ghoulish isles, and unlocking some spooky skins.
