FORTNITE players are up in arms over what appears to be an ISP issue which means they can’t log in.
The Fortnite Status Twitter account announced that it was looking into the issue yesterday, but at the time of writing it’s still ongoing.
“We’re looking into login/connection errors affecting players in certain countries,” it said,
It added that it expects the problems to be ISP-related but would be investigating and sharing further updates when it has more details.
The problems seem to have begun the day before the Twitter account acknowledged them.
A number of people in the thread are airing their frustrations over the delay in taking action.
“Only took you about 12 hours, awesome work guys!” said one.
“I’ve had this for like 3 hours and now you guys notice it,” chimed in another.
Looking through the thread, affected Fortnite players are unable to log in to the game.
Those that manage it report seeing ‘everything disabled’ and are unable to join matches.
As per the initial tweet from the support account, the error is only popping up in certain countries.
New Zealand, Australia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Russia are just a few of the locations mentioned in the thread that are experiencing these issues.
Other European countries are also feeling the frustration of the ISP problems.
One Twitter user says they can get into the game but their husband “in the next room” can’t, and so they’re doubtful it’s ISP-related.
Regardless, there aren’t any more updates right now, but if you’re struggling to connect, rest assured that it’s being looked into.
