GAMESCOM 2021 is kicking off today with The Game Awards’ Geoff Keighley playing host.
While today is technically the first day of the event, Microsoft whet everyone’s appetite with its own show yesterday, which was light on Halo Infinite and heavy on trebuchet talk.
Gamescom 2021: when is it?
Gamescom 2021 is set for today, August 25 and starts at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST.
There’s also a pre-show which is scheduled to begin 30 minutes before the main event, so tune in at 10.30am PT / 1.30pm ET / 6.30pm BST / 7.30pm CEST if you want to ease into the show and prepare yourself for the festivities.

Gamescom 2021: what to expect
Everyone is hoping that Microsoft is saving its Halo Infinite news for Geoff Keighley’s stage.
But regardless of how that pans out, there’s a ton of world premieres and announcements set for the Gamescom 2021. Some of the games we’ll see more of include:

Xbox unveiled a Forza Horizon 5 Limited Edition wireless controller this week, so if it does give us a Halo reveal date, it would be awesome to see one announced for Xbox exclusive title.
