GAMERS, open those wallets! The Steam Summer Sale has begun and there are loads of tempting deals on offer.

The annual sales bonanza sees prices on top video games slashed to record lows.

You’ll find discounts rising even as high as 85% in the Steam Summer Sale

This year’s Steam Summer Sale is live right now, and runs through to 6pm UK time on July 8 – or 10am PT.

There are sales on loads of games, including blockbuster titles like Red Dead Redemption 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Cyberpunk 2077 and more.

AAA titles and indie games alike are receiving huge discounts

So what deals are on offer?

You can get the fast-paced and wildly gorgeous racer Forza Horizon 4 for £27.49 – down from £54.99.

Microsoft’s alien-blasting Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been slashed from £29.99 to £14.99.

One of the biggest discounts is on The Sims 4, cut from £34.99 to a paltry £4.19.

Epic and visually stunning RPG Horizon Zero Dawn (Complete Edition) is now £23.99, from £39.99.

Rockstar’s brilliant Red Dead Redemption 2 is down from £54.99 to £36.84.

MMO superstar The Elder Scrolls Online is just £5.99, down from £14.99.

Gory shooter DOOM Eternal has been cut to just £16.49, from £49.99.

Impressive (albeit initially troubled) open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has been cut by 33%, from £49.99 to £33.49.

Sid Meier fans will love the generous discount on Civilisation VI, down from £49.99 to £12.49.

One of the most acclaimed RPGs of all time – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – is down from £34.99 to £6.99 in a mammoth bargain.

Call of Duty rival Battlefield 5 is down by 75% – from £54.99 to £13.74.

And Far Cry 5 has been cut from £49.99 to £7.49 – an 85% saving.
