A ROLE-PLAYING video game (RPG) places its player into the story, controlling a character’s actions while they develop through the stages of gameplay.
In 2022, Disney is teaming up with entertainment company Kabam to offer the Mirroverse – an RPG based on the iconic franchise.

The Disney Mirrorverse will release on June 23, 2022.
“Disney Mirrorverse represents a brave reimagining of iconic Disney and Pixar characters and stories,” said a statement from Sean Shoptaw, the Senior Vice President of Global Games and Interactive Experiences at The Walt Disney Company.
“This stunning new adventure will appeal to Disney fans and die-hard RPG fans alike, and we can’t wait to show players what’s on the other side of the Stellar Mirror.”
Made for mobile phones, the Mirrorverse will be available for both iOS and Android operating systems.
How can I pre-register for the Disney Mirrorverse?
Users can go directly to the Disney Mirrorverse website to pre-register for the game.
Those who pre-register will earn exclusive awards available at the time of the game’s launch.
For those playing on iOS, the golden Mickey Mouse avatar will unlock upon completing the first chapter of gameplay.
Those with Android will earn the Stellar Mirror avatar.
What is Disney Mirrorverse?
Disney Mirrorverse will offer players the chance to embark on a single-player or multi-player quest to “defend against a dark, unrelenting threat,” per the game’s website.
Characters from across the Disney and Pixar universe will be available for gameplay, including both heroes and villains.
Some confirmed characters include Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, and Sully from Monsters Inc.
