XBOX is giving away four free games this month – with a distinctly spooky feel to celebrate Halloween.
All you need is an Xbox Gold membership, giving you access to new games every single month.
What is Xbox Games with Gold?
Games With Gold is Microsoft’s answer to the free games you get with Sony’s PlayStation Plus.
You can get the free games on Xbox if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold – something that’s required for online play.
Then, each month you receive four free games, two on the latest console and two for the previous generation.
These are yours to keep for as long as you have your Xbox Live Gold membership running.

You can bag four free games this month, worth a grand total of $71.96.
The first game is Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut, a spooky puzzle game where you control a vengeful skeleton creature.
You squash your victims and solve puzzles against a background of 80s horror references.
It’s available from October 1 to 31.
Next up is Maid of Sker, a terrifying first-person survival horror game.
It’s set in a remote hotel with a spooky history inspired by Welsh folklore.
That’s available from October 16 to November 16.
Then there’s Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy, a third-person action adventure inspired by Ancient Egyptian mythology.
It came out way back in 2003, to largely positive reception.
You can get that from October 1 to 15.
Finally there’s Costume Quest, a party-based RPG that was first released in 2010.
You control a child that’s trick-or-treating with their twin on Halloween – when your sibling is kidnapped by a monster.
This will be available from October 16 to 31.
