STACEY Solomon told fans she is quitting social media until Monday amid rumours she is The Masked Singer’s Sausage.
The 31-year-old Loose Women star said she was putting her mobile phone away and won’t look at it until next week.
She wrote a message to fans alongside a shot of her cuddling son Rex, one, saying: “I’m going to put my phone in a drawer for a few days…
“Not off to put my sausage costume on I promise just sometimes it’s needed isn’t it I suppose…
“I hope you all have a lovely Friday and a lovely weekend. And I can’t wait to see you on Monday.
“Love you to the moon and back… .”
Stacey insisted today that she is not The Sausage – joking that dressing as a pork banger would clash with her Jewish faith.
However, many have insisted a killer ‘clue’ hints at her being inside the much-debated character.
In one promo for the show various Masked Singer figures flash by and That’s Not My Name by The Ting Tings plays in the background.
Then as the singer says “They call me Stacey” the Sausage appears on screen.
One fan wrote: Sophie writes over this video: “IT SAYS STACEY ON SAUSAGE!!! Is that a clueee.”
Stacey does have an impressive singing pedigree and a powerful voice, appearing on The X Factor in 2012.
Even fiance Joe Swash is convinced it’s her inside the costume – with her saying he was in a huff with her because he thought she was keeping a secret from him.
Stacey explained: “I just need to take a moment to appreciate that he’s actually not talking to me because he thinks I’m the Sausage on The Masked Singer and I just haven’t told him. What the hell?”
