THE Masked Singer viewers are convinced that Stacey Solomon is behind the Sausage mask.
Stacey, who got engaged to long-term boyfriend Joe Swash on Christmas Eve, started her showbiz career on another ITV1 singing show, The X Factor.
And now viewers are convinced her incredible voice has given away the real identity of the Sausage.
After describing herself as “a tomboy” and “a bit of a silly sausage”, the Sausage blew the panel – Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Rita Ora and Jonathan Ross – away with a version of Skin by Rag n’Bone Man.
And fans on Twitter claimed that they knew it was Stacey immediately.
“Stacey Solomon is my guess for the sausage” said one, while another claimed: “Sausage is 100% Stacey Solomon”.
Another claimed that Stacey’s voice ‘gave her away’, saying: “Sausage sounds EXACTLY like Stacey Solomon when they talk. I am sticking with her.”
Other guesses from fans included Billie Piper – pointing out that the Sausage’s van was labelled “Billie’s Bangers” – Stacey Dooley or Sheridan Smith.
And the panel agreed – with the celebs guessing Stacey Solomon, Billie Piper, Maya Jama or Edwina Currie.
The Sausage’s identity will only be revealed when she’s kicked off the show – just like poor Sophie Ellis Bextor, who was first off last night, and unmasked as the Alien.
Stacey is currently off social media after accepting Joe Swash’s romantic proposal.
“He asked me to marry him and after crying for what felt like a very long time… I said yes” she posted on Christmas Eve.
Stacey and Joe have one child together – baby boy Rex Toby Francis Swash, who was born in May last year.
Loose Women and former X Factor star Stacey had her first son Zachary, whose dad is Dean Cox, as a young mother at 17.
Her second son Leighton, whose father is Aaron Barnham, was born four years later.
Joe also has an older son, 13-year-old Harry Swash, with his former fiancee Emma Sophocleous.
