HAYLEY Hasselhoff broke down in tears after her singing was slated by Simon Cowell on The X Factor: Celebrity tonight.
David Hasselhoff’s stunning daughter was full of confidence as she launched into a performance of Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi.
But the 27-year-old impassioned performance failed to impress the judges – and Simon let rip with his thoughts on her singing.
“I think I would have translated that version as if it was in a musical, it was halfway between trying to sound like a record and something different,” he said,
Meanwhile, diplomatic Nicole said: “I love your presence, it’s a like a very strong, almost unapologetic presence when you sing soI love that confidence about you.”
The critique shattered her confidence and she had clearly been crying after the performance as she took her seat to watch The Vixen perform.
“I honestly feel like I did horrible,” she told Dermot O’Leary after her performance.
The X Factor: Celebrity made its hotly anticipated premiere tonight with an all-star line-up.
Simonhas revamped his hit singing contest, which will now provide a platform for people in the public eye, instead of regular contestants.
This means well-known faces will be taking to the stage in the following categories – Groups, Unders and Overs.
Celebrities including Megan McKenna, Rikki Lake and Jenny Ryan will all be seeing if they’ve got what it takes to be a singer.
