Nicole will not return as a judge for year’s series of The X Factor following a radical shake-up by Simon Cowell.
A show source said: There are no plans for Nicole to return to The X Factor this year. Other announcements about the judging line-up will be made in due course.
It is possible either Sharon or Louis could still return because both have contracts.
Cheryl Cole, Alesha Dixon, and Kylie Minogue have all been named as possible replacements.
