LOVE Island group No Love Lost were tonight accused by fans of miming their performance on X Factor: Celebrity.

Many viewers were convinced that the band – made up of reality stars Eyal Booker, Wes Nelson, Samira Mighty, and Zara McDermott – weren’t singing for real.

One insisted: “Been watching this for 5 minutes and can already see that love island group are miming.”

Another wrote: “Yes, the Love Islanders were miming throughout that.”

A third asked: “Are no love lost miming?”

Others suggested: “Little tip to the Love Islanders… If you wanna convincingly mime, maybe start with actually holding the microphone to your mouth?!”

One Twitter user even ran a poll on the subject
Another suggest a bit of stagecraft for the group

One other Twitter user ran a poll where 83% of voters said the performance wasn’t real.

No Love Lost, who performed Would I Lie To You by Charles & Eddie, were given a safe seat by Simon Cowell who said he admired how seriously they’d taken it.

It was a night of surprises on X Factor: Celebrity, with Martin Bashir surviving for another week despite not singing the whole of his song.

The news man, 56, stopped singing on stage, telling fans: “I’ve forgotten my words – I do apologise” while attempting to croon Lionel Richie’s Easy Like Sunday Morning.

Martin looked shocked as Jonny Labey was sent home instead of him

Martin, who famously interviewed Princess Diana and Michael Jackson, was left awkwardly swaying on stage while the backing singers continued.

However, that wasn’t enough to doom him – because Simon Cowell refused to cast his vote and let the public vote decide who left the competition.

That meant Jonny Labey was sent home this week, alongside Corrie’s Victoria Ekanoye and Jonny Labey.

One fan fumed: “X Factor is such a fix, how the hell did someone go through who lost majority of the lyrics to the song they were singing?”
