MEGAN McKenna has dumped her ex-con boyfriend in order to concentrate on winning the X Factor: Celebrity.
The 27-year-old started dating Zack Gilbert who was jailed for an assault in a bar earlier this year but called it quits as she continues to shed herself of her reality TV past.
A source told the Mirror: As part of the new her, she got rid of Zack about the same time as getting rid of her fillers.
Megan really wants to make the most of all the opportunities X Factor : Celebrity will bring her way and having a convict boyfriend is not a good look.
The Sun Online first revealed Megan was dating Zack in July after they had been dating in secret for three months.
Zack, 26, wassent to a young offenders’ institution for five years in 2013 for wounding and assaultafter an unprovoked attack on a French banker at a bar in Shoreditch, East London.
Megan is currently wowing on the ITV singing competition where she has been singing a series of her own songs.
As part of her new career, she has transformed her look even ditching the lip fillers.
She told the MailOnline recently: I have stripped back with loads of things, my hair, my make-up, my lips, right down to my clothes. I feel less is more.
I know I dress up for stage but that’s a different story, if you see me in my day to day clothes, I am on a much different vibe to what I used to be.
On another occasion, she discussed her TV past, saying: Im a completely different person these days. Ive done so much growing up.
I know people see me as Mental Megs if Id watched me, Id think, Oh God I dont like her.
But the truth is I was just a broken, upset young girl and I didnt really know what I was getting myself in to.
