A “ONE IN A MILLION” mum was stabbed to death by accident as CCTV shows a knifeman fighting with her boyfriend, sources claim.
Lucas Barnard, 27, was arrested on suspicion of murdering Levi Davis, 25, in Rushden, Northamptonshire near her home on Saturday night.
But police confirmed they released him with no further action, with Miss Davis’s boyfriend Jake Swords, 27, charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to run over Mr Barnard.
It is believed Mr Barnard was defending himself against Mr Swords and that Miss Davis was accidentally killed during the confrontation.
Miss Davis is believed to have died from a single stab wound after she intervened.

Cops released Mr Barnard without charge after viewing “high quality” CCTV of the incident.
A source said public feeling over the young mum-of-two’s killing is running very high.”
It comes after a schoolboy aged 13 quizzed over the alleged murder was released and will also face no further action.
Detectives are not believed to be looking for anyone else in connection with Miss Davis’s killing.
Mr Swords appeared in court this week charged with attempted murder of a 27-year-old man.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Northampton Crown Court in January.
Tributes were left at the spot where Levi was killed on Saturday night.
One wrote: “Rest in peace beautiful, granddad will look after you now.”
Another wrote: “Love and miss you, loads of love.”
A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman, said: Following on from last nights announcement that we are releasing the 27-year-old arrested on suspicion of Levis Davis murder, we would like to reiterate that we have high quality CCTV footage covering this specific incident.
We have identified everyone involved during the incident on the night of Saturday, December 7, and we are not seeking anyone else in relation to Levis death.
“We will continue our investigations into the specifics of the incident and provide any updates at the appropriate time.
