Who is Wes Nelson?
Wes Nelson is a reality TV star who shot to fame on the fourth series of ITV2’s Love Island.
On the show, he went on to form a relationship with Megan, but their romance was cut short when the two decided to call it quits in January, 2019.
He made the revelation via an Instagram post, which read: “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate.
“We have been working hard for well under a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.”
Aside from making headlines for his chaotic love life, Wes continued his run in showbiz after landing a spot as a contestant on the 11th series of Dancing On Ice.
On the ITV series, the social media guru and his dancing partner Vanessa Bauer came second in the intense competition – but it was enough for Wes to prove that there’s more to him than a pretty face.
Other shows he’s made appearances on include 8 Out of 10 Cats, where he was a guest panelist, and The Crystal Maze.
Does he have any experience in singing?
In March, Wes had exclusively told The Sun that he was looking to pursue a career in music, explaining how his experience on Dancing On Ice – which required him to put on a show every week – is what led him to try out the venture.
Open and honestly, Wes gushed about Brian McFadden taking him under his wing by potentially signing up to his record label and releasing R&B and pop music.
He said: I’ve caught the performance bug now. When you finish a routine, you get that overwhelming feeling.
Performing is so enjoyable and I see why everyone loves it now. I sang on Love Island but producers never showed it because of copyright reasons. We were singing all the time.
Ive been speaking to Brians label and they had a meeting with me but for now just ice skating.”
Despite all of this, however, fans have yet to see Wes put on a performance that requires vocals – but clearly, if he’s finding himself in meetings regarding a potential record deal, he must be pretty good.
Who is Wes Nelson dating now?
In August 2019 it was revealed that Wes was dating fellow Love Island alum Arabella Chi.
The pair were snapped holding hands as they went shopping after spending the night together.
They had previously revealed how the pair had been growing close, and been on several romantic dinners together.

Wes and fellow Love Island 2018 star Megan stayed together until January 2019.
The former couple, also known as Wegan,moved in together in Essex and regularly posted loved-up snaps.
However, the couple was hit by relationship drama during Wes’ appearance on Dancing On Ice, as Megan became jealous of his skate partner Vanessa Bauer.
This ultimately lead to the couple parting ways, with Megan posting a sarcastic message on Instagram.

Wes was involved in a lot of the island drama.
