X FACTOR: Celebrity star Jenny Ryan was praised by fans for “keeping it real” as she revealed images of her messy hairstyle before the show’s glam squad took control.
The Chase brainbox dubbed her look a “frizzy mess” in a candid yet tongue in cheek analysis of her appearance as she arrived at the ITV studios.
Jenny, who is better known as The Vixen on The Chase in reference to her red hair and ponytail, uploaded two snaps to her Twitter account revealing her normal, everyday look.
These captured the TV star arriving in London in a trendy leopard-print dress, complete with matching coat, and black boots.
She clutched a handbag in one hand and a suitcase in the other, yet it was her windswept hairstyle which commanded all the attention.
Her flame-coloured barnet and fringe looked unkempt after being swirled around by the blustery conditions, leaving the straight style all out of place.
A second, close-up image showed Jenny back in the car away from the grim conditions, with her hair still unkempt.
Jenny posted the duo of snaps to her account with the witty caption: “This is evidence of how amazingly skilled the team at @TheXFactor is – tune in later to see how they’ve transformed tired frizzy mess into Saturday Night Diva!”
Posting the snap shortly prior to her performance on this weekend’s show, she added: “Vote for me, please!”
Fans were quick to praise her post in comments underneath her snap, with one writing: “Still beautiful Jenny xxx swit swoo foxy lady xxx.”
Another added: “Keeping it real for us normal people Thanks Jenny.”
Jenny also sports glasses on the quiz show but she has been barely recognizable as she shows off her vocal prowess on the ITV show.
This weekend, Jenny belted out Shirley Bassey classic, This Is My Life, which was praised by the judging panel.
She cut a hugely stylish look in a flowing red dress which fell over the staircase.
Yet it was her hairstyle which marked the biggest transformation, with her locks parted at the side and slicked back into a low ponytail.
This week Jonny Labey and Victoria Ekanoye were axed.
Acts Try Star and Kevin McHale were saved by the X Factor: Celebrity judges.
