In the festive flick, she was the crush of schoolboy Sam and sang Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You at the end of the film.

Yet the American is now hoping to shed her old fame skin in favour of a completely new identity on the first ever ITV series of its kind.

She told Mail Online: “For the love of god Im so much more than the Love Actually girl!”

Yet despite belting out a note-perfect tune on the Hollywood blockbuster, she admitted she is apprehensive.
